Welcome to the Structured Property Inspections official promotional and privacy terms. By subscribing to our newsletter and entering our giveaway, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

PART 1: OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

1. Eligibility & Service Area

This promotion is open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The Home Inspection prize is valid only for residential properties located within the following service areas: Barrie, Bradford, Innisfil, and Simcoe County. Properties located outside this geographical boundary are ineligible for the prize.

2. Winner Selection & Announcement

  • Annual Draw: One (1) winner will be selected annually from our active subscriber list.

  • Timeline: The winner will be announced annually at the end of September (coinciding with the start of the school year).

  • Skill-Testing Requirement: To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance, as required by the Criminal Code of Canada.

3. Prize Value & Redemption

  • Maximum Value: The prize consists of one (1) Standard Home Inspection with a maximum retail value of $1,000 CAD. Costs for specialized testing or inspections of properties exceeding this $1,000 cap are the sole responsibility of the redeemer.

  • Extended Validity: To ensure the winner has ample time to utilize the service, the prize remains valid for the remainder of the winning year plus the entire following calendar year. (e.g., a winner announced in September 2026 has until December 31, 2027, to redeem).

  • No Cash Value: Prizes are non-refundable, non-negotiable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

4. Booking, Availability & "Rush" Fees

  • Subject to Availability: All inspections are subject to inspector workload and availability. We recommend booking at least 14 days in advance to secure your preferred date.

  • Rush Bookings: Bookings requested with less than 48 hours' notice are not guaranteed. If a last-minute booking is accommodated, a Rush Administration Fee will apply. This fee is not covered by the $1,000 prize value and must be paid by the redeemer at the time of booking.

  • Transferability: The prize is fully transferable. Real Estate Agents may win and assign the inspection to a specific client’s property. Individuals may gift the prize to a friend or family member, provided the property is within our designated service area.

PART 2: PRIVACY & CONSENT (CASL & PIPEDA)

5. Collection of Information

We collect your name, email address, and professional role (if applicable) via Elfsight and Squarespace. This data is securely stored and managed through Sender for the purposes of contest administration and marketing.

6. Express Consent & Marketing

By checking the consent box on our sign-up form, you provide express consent to Structured Property Inspections Limited to:

  • Contact you regarding contest results and prize administration.

  • Receive our email newsletter containing home maintenance tips and industry updates.

  • Be contacted periodically with exclusive promotional deals, seasonal discounts, and special offers.

  • You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link found in the footer of our emails.

  • Marketing communications are delivered on a seasonal basis (approximately four times per calendar year), though additional communications may be sent regarding specific contest administration or prize notification.

7. Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is processed only by our trusted service providers (Squarespace, Elfsight, and Sender) to facilitate our communications with you. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

8. Limitation of Liability

A home inspection is a visual assessment of the property's condition at the time of inspection only. Structured Property Inspectionsis not liable for latent defects or issues in inaccessible areas of the home. Standard inspection contract terms apply to the performance of the service.
